MAR International Logistics was founded in August 2020 by CEO Miguel Angel Del Rio. Frustration with post-pandemic supply chain issues and demand for roofing products sparked the rise of MAR International Logistics. The journey began with the cultivation, cutting, and exporting of palm leaves from the Soto La Marina region in Tamaulipas, Mexico to the United States. The beautiful leaves from the Sabal Mexicana palm trees cultivated and harvested by MAR International Logistics have been utilized by roofing companies and beach resorts to adorn many constructions along the Gulf Coast of the United States. The beauty and functionality of our natural thatch roofing has been used for palapas and tiki huts ranging from South Padre Island, Texas to Louisiana, and we are proud to be approaching our 100th palm leaf trailer delivered!

MAR International Logistics has sought to satisfy the demands of our clients since the very start of our operation. This has led us to expand our scope of service into providing wide range of construction materials, such as steel coils and other metal products, used in roofing and construction. We also provide timber products such as cedar and charcoal and on-demand international freight services in Mexico and the USA.
